on a o2 contract so i need a phone that can just stick the sim in,i need Bluetooth,a camera and good loud ring tones looking to spend about 90 quid, was looking at the Nokia x2-00 but the reviews say the battery's tat and needs charging daily,my old blackberry went like that then died, and was a pain to use

NOT £90 but if your on contract get an iPhone you won't use anything better or easier IMHO mate

If you haven't got an iphone, you haven't got an iphone

htc desire does it for me but youd have to get a new contract for that as well changing to a smart phone is a bit of a learning curve at first but once youve got it its a whole new ball game internet at you fimger tips apps for gas rate torch easy to use calculator emails the list goes on
and if you get a contrat with enough internet you can use it as a modem for a lap top

I got a samsung galaxy s2 last year after my lass kept on at me to get into the 21st century! Clever thing. A mini laptop that phones! I absolutely hated it and gave it to her (that was probably her plan lol)
So i bought a Nokia C2 01. Just a phone that does as it says on the tin: phones.
Battery lasts about 3 days

I got myself a JCB sitemaster. No camera but really loud rintone and very robust. I just wanted something that I wouldn't need to worry about. I've broken several screens on phones when I've lent on them in awkward positions and I really don't want to be doing that to a phone which costs hundreds of pounds. The torch on it is very handy as well, an unexpected benefit.

you can't just put a sim in an iphone as they are smaller! I want one, wifes got one, I won't be getting one, not a techy but as I am nearly 42yo and still 'with it' as I say to my 8yo I think i need one!

Am considering the IPhone, but new iPhone 5 is due this year & to be completely different.
For those who need to protect their phone from knocks, I hear " Otterbox " cases are good.

take your sim into the phone shop and they will cut it to fit in the iphone, they give you the cut out bit back in case you want to fit it into another normal phone

i have a griffen cover for my iphone, it does make it bigger all round (obviously) but it is superb and gives great coverage, think it was about £25
