Sounds like an expensive mistakeRuns under a concrete floor!
Only the compression fittings I believeFloor was newly laid too.
So there's no easy fix when it comes to tracpipe then?
If a nail has been driven through a tracpipe buried in a concrete floor, how do you repair it?
The only connection tracpipe has are compression fittings, not suitable here. Looks like you may have to lay a new pipe?
No idea how long that nail was. Who drives a nail in concrete anyway, it must have been a drillbit.
I need to clarify here that it wasn't me. I was contacted to fix this. Kitchen fitter responsible...
Somebody asked if the tracpipe is in a duct. I believe this is not needed? That's the whole point of tracpipe, it can be buried directly in concrete? But after this, it sounds like a duct is good practice!
