what model is it i had a warmplan xx witha faulty thermostat that was getting red hot and damaging the case not long back

This is not the correct forum to post this!!

It would seem that you are not competent enough to sort this one
that you have to come on to a public forum for advice.
Your customer could be reading this!

Best at the very least you should read and re read the installation
manual. Check gas rates, burner pressure etc. If you still can not
sort it then cap off and get someone in with the relevant experience
and qualifications to put it right.

Hi guys, have any of fitted one of the above wall heaters?

i fitted one for a customer last week and they have phoned me up tonight because the outer casing has started to go brown. I've been to have a look and it's going brown on the top of the case. When the wall heater is running the surface of the case gets red hot. Is that normal?

cheers guys

It don't sound right. Have you done gas rate burner pressure and checked data badge? Check gas jet to make sure its the right size.

I have checked pressures and gas rates all are fine. I hav read the installation manual several times and I have installed it in line with them.
