Lady across the road from me has a problem with her saniflo, I know a lot people would tell me to steer clear of these things but I'm happy to do anything for the right price. She said it doesn't always clear the waste away but if she gives it a kick it will work.

I have a mate going with me who said he knows a bit about them, he reckons it might need a new motor and a bit of a clean out. I've replaced a couple of motors on them before a few years ago and it wasn't a nice job if I remember.

Anyone here clued up on them? Approx 4-5 years old she says.

Thanks

Sorry ash but if your mate is saying a new motor at that age then he doesn`t know "a bit about them" 😡
Really needs a full service however you could try..........
Turn power off, pour the small bottle of Kil-Rock down the basin and add half basin cold water, turn power back on after 1-1.5hrs and flush.

Yeah agree with you there, I had my doubts so thought I may be better asking on here so we don't look a couple of clowns.

Will have take some Kil-Rok, thanks.

I will see what's happening and recommend a service.

Float switch does ring a bell. I'm not overly familiar with saniflos but I used to get sent to a basement flat that would always flood with muck and a new float switch fixed the issue.

Might see if Saniflo offer any courses that I can get to locally.

Went over today. Access is very limited, can't even get any model details from it. Customer said has paperwork somewhere so said will dig it out and give to me so I can get some info.

Ah, another one all boxed in?
Might be able to ID it from photos
