Please excuse my lack of knowledge but what are hammer through drivers and what are the benefits of having them?

Wera laser tip and Stanley Fatmax for the additional Posi odd ball screws.

For gas valves I use a Range £0.99 special, perfect fit for Honeywell gas valves.

They are metal full length & end covered with a plastic handle. They also have the metal through the handle a bit for to hit with a hammer. Most also have a hex at handle side of shaft for using a spanner on tight screws. Really just screwdrivers for when we want to whack a rusted screw or chisel wood or brickwork sometimes.

I bought one yesterday. Decent looking and feeling screwdrivers and for the price of a pint and a half you can't go wrong. I threw them in the garage in the screwdriver pile  I will use them at some point.

Best screwdrivers I've had a few screwdriver sets and nothing comes close to the wera chisel driver set. (Yellow and black handles). 20 quid for a set of 6.
