Hi all

have got to install a showermate eco twin pump..... the top of the cylinder looks a bit corroded so don't fancy trying a surrey flange.

stuart turner do say that you can tee off the expansion pipe (providing its the first tee feeding the shower) but it must hadownwardsve a rising of set off thecylinder.

problem is it has been done with a tight bend and if anything falls downwards.....

would it still work if a teed it here......

cheers

The connection should be made so that it is free of air, so if you are coming off the vent it should be routed heading downwards otherwise the pump could draw in air.

If the manufacturer says you can pipe off the vent then you can.
