hi

a customer has a poor performing mixer shower and wants to upgrade. i've told him there is not much point because he is on a gravity hw system.

the property is a concrete flat on one level with no loft to enable an additional cistern to be fitted. the hw cylinder is a combination unit. the cupboard in which the cylinder is located is a tight squeeze already.

i'm assuming that for a shower pump there will need to be a larger cwsc to prevent the shower pumping dry.

my question therefore is has anyone else found themselves with a similar situation??? and if so how was it remedied??

thanks chaps

KJ

p.s customer does not want an electric shower as it would mean exposed pipework. plus would expose the connections from existing mixer shower.
