Soil pipe material identification

Hi thanks for the reply sorry i forgot to mention it is made from some sought of cement with fibres added circa 1960

asbestos then dont touch until its tested and replaced

There is another material that was used to make pipes that looks very similar to asbestos, can't remember the name of it. If it may be asbestos then treat it as asbestos, not worth the risk.
