Soil pipe waste question.

Good evening all,

I am trying to renew my cloakroom but have encountered a hiccup.
My house was built in 1970ish, I have 110mm waste outside but my downstairs toilet soil pipe is bigger.

My problem is that I want to plumb my basin into it, the soil pipe is not plastic or lead,

I am thinking cutting the old soil pipe, get a flexible adapter from supplier and renew what I need in 110, it appears that this has already been done in 1 place to put in a modern bog.

I haven't got much room to play with about 24" before it leaves the house and goes into the drain.

Any views, solutions would be appreciated.

err replace the soil pipe lol not all that exspensive,an will look tidy,if not do bum you said,dont think it will hold the weight above though ,id drill a hole in it an push the waste into it done !

Hi Squirrel, Do you mean you want to run the basin waste along the room on the inside? If so you can just get a wc pan connector with a 1 1/4 " boss on it.

I do need to put a boss on to it under the floor board, it was running inside along the wall but it looked terrible.

I've changed it so it runs under the floor,

Yeah cut into it and use a strap on boss .. be sure to have 250mm distance from the previous connection if poss. 🙂

Thanks I'll give it a go, my only concern is that its not plastic.
