Sorry - guess I should have put this in the General forum, but I can't see how to move it..

Hi,

Couple of Q's I'd like to put past you all:

I'm just considering doing a Solar Thermal course; could I ask what sort of demand there is out there?

I guess the customer needs quite a bit of capital to install Solar; has the credit-crunch affected sales badly?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Cheers

everybody wants to go green. nobody can spend 3 grand on solar.
find a good cheap supplier with a good guarantee, haggle over price,
try your hand.

good luck.

Renewables must be the way to go; solar or ground heat will be mandatory in new builds within ten years. I can see the government going for grant assisted work and prices become more affordable as scales of economy fall into place. So even if you don't take a course now, it's worth keeping an eye on prices and new products and methods.
In my opinion!
