went to look at a bathroom today customer had someone fit bath basin and wc it was awful all copper pushfit and flexis and bath legs were on floorboards that were not supported by joists .they wanted quote to remove and re fit correctly moving all exposed pipework old 3/4 under floor and altering wastes and turning bath when re fitted also move towel rail above bath from opp wall I worked out I needed 8x 15mm copper and a selection of fittings inc 3/4-22 reducers / 32 and 40 waste pipe and fittings / tap connectors / traps and fischer bolts etc in all approx. £175 of parts was told they had quote for £315 inc parts this inc first fix then plasterer will skim walls then rtn to 2nd fix and re fill bleed system etc. I gave my price and walked away don't think I will get it.

I reckon they'll probably bite the bullet and call you back having already experienced what a bad plumber can do they won't want to risk going with a cheap quote. Then again customers can make odd decisions so who knows?

Lol, if they haven't learned their lesson after the first cheap guy bodged it up, they don't deserve you mate.

They'll accept the quote in about three weeks, when they've had more expensive quotes and realise its a good price. Hopefully you'll have a load of decent work on and you can turn it down.
