Hi all

nice letter landed today. A notice of intended prosecution!

aparently, I was doing 35 mph in a 30. So where in hull area.
The offence took place on the 29th January, and I have just received the letter. It is dated 24th February. Well after the 14 days.

anyone ever contested one of these and know what to do?

thanks.:confused5:

I've heard of this, you weren't in a hire vehicle or a something difficult to trace? Get a brief.

I got a letter through the post around the beginning of December for doing 39 in a 30 or something like that, I couldn't do the speed awareness course as I was 1mph over the speed the threshold for that. I never bothered ringing them to say it was me driving and I've just left it and heard nothing since, I'm now thinkin that maybe I got it after the 14 day rule and maybe they can't chase it up or hoping so anyway
