Stanley torpedo level worn out after 6 months

I have been buying these for a couple of years and am on my third.....the lines either side of the bubble wear off when in the toolbox and make it difficult to read so i have to chuck it and buy another. The last one I bought was in January at Screwfix and already the line have practically worn off.

These are not fit for purpose....do you think they will swap it??
Or if not I need to get a fine line permenant marker or something as I hate wasting stiff.

Me.... It saves me buying a new one every year!
seriously though the sleeve stays in a pocket of my tote bag and I just slid it in and out as if the sleeve was the pocket.

I have an electronic stabila. It gets put in it's sleeve, tucked up in a warm duvet and read a bed time story each night. Seriously a level is a measuring instrument and should be treated as such although Stanley like most other tool makers have gone down hill.

Hi phill i keep my fatmax levels in a (fatmax) padded case . It saves them getting knocked about in van.
