This shower valve has become very stiff recently until it would only move about a quarter turn and I couldn't get any water out of it. I've tried applying grease and vaseline to the moving parts and it's o.k. for a couple of weeks then the same problem comes back.

I would replace it but I can't find a valve the same size.

Any suggestions?

It's from a Porcelanosa/Noken NK system C shower installed in 2007.

Hi MGB,

You could contact shower doctor regarding your issue with same picture. They will surely help you to give you an answer how much it cost and if they've got it in stock.

Kind regards,

Ron

Did you try actually stripping the cartridge fully apart?
If no serious wear on the brass inside, it might just require cleaning and greasing. Any O ring at base of internal part can worn, just like with ordinary tap cartridges.
