Thanks for the messages, much appreciated.
Fortunately I've got a decent amount of tools cover on the van insurance so it's covered there. I also reported it to Kane too so it'll be flagged up if the plunker person who buys it cheap sends it in for calibration in 9-10 months.
Had local Crime Prevention officer come round and show support, saying they have a problem with the local traveller community in the area cruising the area looking out for trade vehicles but they are stepping up patrols. People knock the police but they do have a difficult job so all credit to them for their efforts. It's just a fact of life that there's these theiving scum out there who don't know what an honest days work is!
I'm actually grateful they didn't steal my beautiful Jack Russell dog, Megan, who was in the van at the time, too. That would have been a nightmare!
Anyway, onwards and upwards. Time to get the alarm hooked up to the roller shutters and rear door this weekend!

how does that work, after 10 months youre free to buy and sell stolen analysers
If it was stolen in or around london try Nine Elms market on a sunday, theres plenty of thiefing @~!ts down there selling all the tools theyve stolen
you see tool bags just laid open still with the bits of fittings which werent needed but ended up sitting in the bottom of your bag still there, the stuff that anyone who knew what it was or what it was for would know it wouldnt be worth trying to sell
its so obvious theyve just ripped someones livelyhood apart and dont give a dam
No, it was calibrated 3 months ago so when it runs out, it will need re-calibrating so it may (or may not) get sent to Kane!
