We had the l200 given when I was in mountain rescue had it 2 week and sent it back pile of poo for us stock with the 110 130

ooo, my uncle does that in the rockies.
send you a pic of the set up when i remember.

L200's are poo. mines a DELICA SUPER EXEED LWB L400 🙂

There was a time when I was ready to buy a Delica but then heard something about them not conforming to crash standards or something. May have been Land Rover propaganda I don't know but it put me off buying one.

It's actually a Mitsubishi Pajero underneath all that bravado DP

I thought you'd killed it anyway?

I just had a quick google and the story was from a few years back where a couple died after flipping it on the M6, coroner said they're no good for the motorway. I'm not knocking them by the way, just repeating what I heard.

probably rescued gaylanders in the snow with there hairdresser owners would not have been a fender or disco

here it is
Scooby mystery machine ........haha nice one Steve

All this landrover talk........never needed one in 25 years.....

Never missed a job in last few weeks of snow, in fact squeezed extra ones in lol, I was in Harrogate (Darley and Menwith Hill are not flat) in 4 inch of snow on Friday in the 200 brake RWD Merc Vito no problems.

Some just need to learn how to drive

pop down to exmoor in the rain or snow and give us a call when youve been there a couple of days and i'll come collect you. You might not be using the country lanes enough to realise what terrible conditions really are, after all if a gritter can get there so can you and your vito, its where gritters dont go me and my landy earn their money in the floods and drifts🙂

I was teaching a girl how to get an army Land Rover up a muddy hill once and she somehow managed to hit a lampost about 10 metres away.

yes a bit top heavy but so are landys, all down to driver 🙂

Lol pal it's because the wipers rarely work
Should have had wipers on her glasses I tell you, Deidre Barlow had nothing on her.

I only vaguely remember this day but we were conducting a team building scenario for new recruits where their helicopter had crashed and they were the only survivors. They come across a Land Rover which needs a wheel changing and also have to hook up an upturned trailer and load all these water-filled drums onto it. They then have to navigate an off-road course which ends with a big steep hill.

She was supposed to switch from 2 to 4WD or something (can't remember) but got flustered, took her hands off the wheel and floored it. Made her do it again until she got it right and she went on to be a HGV driver driving DROPS wagons and also class 2's in civvy street. If you see a Deirdre Barlow look-a-like driving a wagon get out the way!
