Looking for a hand pump to syphion out hot water tanks ect as I hate sucking on the end of the hoses I looking for a pump that can do it for me any idears what do people use?

Wet vac, has the advantage of loads of other uses to.

Look at pumps that boaters use to bale out water, something like a Whale (manufactures name) manual sump pump, Whales are expensive but there are loads of cheap copies out there if your only gonna use it now and then. Loads on fleabay.

I have one of these. Also good for emptying the cistern when changing a B E valve.

A proper plumber loves the taste of mucky water through a hosepipe, you cant beat it . lol

if you dont like sucking just put the hose on a tap to part fill it then thumb it till you get outside
