Hi, just a novice question. I am fitting a 1200 x 700 acrylic shower tray that has 6 legs but I am concerned that there is no support at all in the middle. Is this ok? Seems sturdy enough but will it hold the weight?

Regards

Tony

What do the instructions say?

The legs are often just for levelling and the tray needs to be supported on a sand and cement (or similar) bed.

It shows that if it is to be used without legs then it should be bedded in weak cement, but the instructions just show an installation with just the legs. The distance from the floor to the bottom of the tray with legs is about 3 inches.

Regards
