Swearing cont

So whatt's your point? We now have a full team of Mods now and more moderation will be the result. If we didn't then this forum would be full of spam and stupid posts.

You should read the rules. They are there for all, not just one or two.

you wouldn't get spam on the closed forums though would you. Threads being closed in there is a bit much to be honest. I used to like hiding out in the arms and reading what was being said, with not really any limits.

The other day there was a thread closed about silly ways to fix a shower to the wall because Poole might see it and do it. Everyone in the arms is a professional, ok I don't do any plumbing work anymore but I know not to stick a shower to the wall with blue tac.

To be fair ray might of tried that when he got home...

I don't swear on here and I never said I have to swear to get my point across, I just said that sown people do. And really if your honest its quite an effective way of emphasising a point. I am honest and no it isnt....try this ! its called an exclamation mark !!!!

And just for the record I don't swear in people house or infront of people I don't know or in public but I will sear occasionally when I'm out on the lash or at the villa, but that doesn't mean I don't have a brain. This sentence does not work !!!

I can easily express myself using words other than swear words and never swear on here. Good for you , this means I wont need to ban you !.....see how good that exclamation mark work ?

I closed that thread, even though I started it too. It was starting to get ridiculous and as there were dozens of posts on the main forum needing moderated that day, I couldn't find the time to reply to MY post. It would have been nice if some of the questions being asked that day on the main forum could have had answers instead of growing a thread into massive proportions of silly answers that was going nowhere.

As for editing some of the threads on here, I have done so at the request of other members.

Swearing is a massively effective way to get a point across. People only really swear when they are really in a bad mood or at the end of their tether.

Sarcasm on the other hand is the lowest form of wit 🙂

Not on here it isnt !, Continue with this and I will take action ! You are now wasting moderators and admins time. ....Thats not sarcasm !

But surely a thread full of tradesmen talking rubbish is what part of this forum is about. I personally like coming on here and getting involved in the fun stuff.

Most of the other threads just end I someone saying, get a professional in, or no your quote sounds ok. Or it's just someone asking about fga's or courses. I prefer the non plumbing orientated threads, who really wants to come home from work and talk about more work.

Mr. D, can you close this thread. There are scores of posts needing my attention elsewhere.

That's the good thing about this forum! We are all able to voice our opinion, rant off, make jokes etc & most of time it's taken as its meant. However, sometimes we are required to tow the line a little by the powers that be so we should be respectful of that, even though we might disagree.

Im thankful we have moderators as I have experienced on other forums that don't have as proactive mods as we do & the forum is a complete & utter mess.

Without wishing to upset anyone here or make any enemies, I'm just hoping to add a voice of reason to an otherwise unimportant subject. Surely we have more important things to discuss on here?!?!

Hold up lets not close , we're all playing nice and the forum is about its members from top to bottom etc .
