I have a job for next year where the customer wants their swimming pool boiler replaced, at present they have a small balanced flue wall hung unit, vented via a single 22mm f&e, using 28mm flow/return- I intend to install a small, condensing system boiler around 15kw, as it only passes through a small chrome heat exchanger with no information/branding on it around 10-12 inches long before returning back to the boiler.
Does anyone have any past experience in installing similar set-ups if so any idea if any extra expansion vessels/ safety devices other than the pipe stat and prv? any idea if a minimum length of pipe work is required to avoid any possible overheat/lockout at the boiler? any help or constructive critisism would be much appreciated. Ta, Bill.
