switchmaster 400 replace with horstmann c27

Hi Everyone
my switchmater 400 dial stopped working so i went on line for a compatible programmer. I found that a horstman c27 would work fine. the switchmaster controlled heating on, hot water on, or both, on a 3 port mid way valve, temperature controlled by roomstat and cylinderstat. when i took the switchmaster of it had, 2 wires to neutral, 1 wire to live, 1 wire to pin 1, and 1 wire to pin 3, ie only 2 control wires. can anyone advise on which pins i should connect 2 wires for full independant control of heating and hot water through the C27 programmer.
