I found an old leaflet advertising a product called Tap Off, aparently it replaces the internal stopcock,it is run on batterys and you just flick the switch and water is turned off.
My Question is,are thease still available, are they any good,or is there an alternetive on the market
Many thanks

Dont know about that one, but there is a make i know of called "sure stop" and i dont think it needs batteries, just goses on the water pressure. although when i read the back of the box it said you still need to have a working stopcock.

Yes that is true it comes with a stopcock and a switch like plamber said because of regs it is about £50 i think
