Can anyone help. I have a testo 327 which is only 8 months old. Today I got a warning message saying O2 cell nearly depleted, recommend replacing. I religiously replace the filters and clear the trap of liquid and always purge in fresh air until all the readings drop to zero. Should this unit last longer than this and is there something that can be done to repair the unit without replacing the O2 cell itself. I am disappointed a well known unit like this would fail so quickly.

its still under warranty though send it back to get sorted

send it back to testo, it should be reasonable to expect an fga to last a year before a sensor failure and they should replace foc, had the same happpen with a sensor on a kane after paying to replace it when it failed 4 months later, they replaced it without a quibble:rockon2:

i have a anton if the 02 cells cost 400 quid i would buy another fga luckily they are covered for 3 years

327 comes with 3 year cells if I remember correctly. Mine have last beyond this although its out of calibration now so needs a new set £300 for cells and calibration, bummer.

kane 455, cell /infra red sensor guareteed 5 years if you service via kane annually for £80 a pop😛arty:

Ouch. Wasnt expecting those prices. I will definately be pushing for this to be fixed under warranty. Gone through tons of filters to ensure this doesn't happen. Thanks for advice guys.

Testo are very good. You won't have any issues having this fixed under warranty

I use woseley for my FGA service. And I get to lend their FGA when mines off for service

O2 cells have a shelf life so if your analyser was hanging about on the shelf for a long time before it was sold the o2 cell would already be partially depleted.Even when you get it changed the new one will probably already have used up a couple of months of its life.
