No X factor in this house tonight. I've put my foot down! Boxing is on and I've been craving pizza all day. Ordered a dominos, nothing special, medium pizza couple of sides nearly 30 notes! I feel like I've had my pants pulled down. Didn't pizza used to be a cheap takeaway?!
 
My student loan was 1/2 absorbed by dominoes carry out pizza and garlic bread 9.99
 
We do like Dominos in our house but I heard the prices had gone up recently, looked at menu last week and even with the deals they are expensive, most towns and city's have decent independent pizza takeaways that are lots cheaper.
 
Dominoes is an absolute rip off, went into one in Blackpool a few years ago, saw the prices, turned round and left.
I thought it must be because it's Blackpool.
A Dominoes opened near me in Bolton last year so I went in craving pizza, saw the prices, turned round and left...
As mentioned above, there are some cracking indie pizza shops where you can get a top notch pizza for much less than half the price of Dominoes.
 
Oh, oh, oh, can hardly wait wetdrip. Shan't sleep until I see it.

I think the sides are nicer than the pizza's now. I'm sure the quality of the pizza's has gone don hill over the past few years. The garlic cheese sticks from papa johns are amazing.
 
Pizza Express - absolutely brilliant and reasonable prices!
Went to one of their places in Belfast (Bedford Street) on a warm night a few weeks ago.
I noticed a lot of tourists that looked Spanish or Italian were eating there - says It all really.
One of the best meals I have had & think it was only about £40 odd for two of us & that was starters & then main meal of pizzas & a lovely bottle of red followed with sweets.
As mfgs says, the starter can be best.
