Thermosat

Hi people
Need some advice currently have a salus rt310i thermosat installed and it's a nightmare the WiFi connection drops out so heating doesn't come on

I wanted to ask can I install a traditional dial thermosat will this be difficult to do. I have attached I'm images of my boiler and current thermosat location.

The receiver next to the boiler. Sorry I'm new to all this. So if. I buy a old school dial thermosat which will be going on the wall in the hallway wiring this there from the old one. All I need to do is fit a new reciever?

I’m suggesting you fit another brand

All you would need to do is swap the salus receiver fit the new one and wire it in as salus arnt the best

the junction box below the boiler (the circle) might be were the old thermostat wires are but can’t be 100% sure

It would be easier as Shaun says to fit a different branded wireless, and Salus are garbage. If the wiring isn’t there in that junction box for a dial stat, then you’d need to run 3 core wiring from where the Salus receiver is to where you would want the new dial thermostat.

Thanks for the reply. I'm sure the wiring is there as this is a new boiler and the old boiler had the traditional dial thermostat.

That’s fine just need to get your self a Drayton lp 111 eg single channel timer and a Honeywell 6360
