hello

i have been asked to quote for servicing 8 thermostatic mixing valves. i've never done this before. what do i need to do to service the valve. there is 6 under basins and 2 under baths...... thanks...rob

Tricky one, I've never serviced them as such, as they're pretty much a sealed unit, these ones anyway.

I test them to ensure they're putting out the correct temperature, check cold and hot water fail safe, test incoming cold temp, incoming hot temp, make a record of each one on a spread sheet.

Most will have filters/mesh to protect them from debris and if easily accessible you could check these but if its working fine I'd leave em.
See if your customer knows what standard TMV's they are or has any literature on them that will help you work out if they are fit for purpose.
