Thermostatic mixing valve

I am moving my bathroom into another room in the house and installing a thermostatic mixing shower above my bath, i will be connecting the shower upto the hot and cold pipework for the bath taps, Do i connect the hot for the shower before the TMV for the hot tap or after

a shower requires dedicate feeds to it, not from the bath feed

The (thermostatic) shower should not be connected to the output of a TMV. Whether it is T'd before or after, in terms of pipework layout, doesn't matter.

Just connect both valves directly to the hot feed from the boiler.

check the showers fitting instructions as i am sure it will say a dierct feed

Do no fit it after the TRV in any case as your shower wont get hot enough

TMV Not TRV, sorry i was in a rush
