Hi

I have had a request whilst fitting a new toilet if it can be moved slightly to the left a little as it is v close to the wall at present and your knees knock the radiator!!!!

Is there a way of doing this with a pan connector - a flexi one wouldn't do it as it only needs moving 6 inches or so and i dont like flexi pan connectors anyway.

Is there a fitting out there that does the job or a combination of two that would do it?😀

thanks

I think you can buy fittings that only move it by 5 degrees. I had this problem in my own house, had to move the toilet a short distance to get a cupboard unit in. Eventually ended up drilling a new hole through the wall etc. Which is obviously what your trying to avoid?

moving it 6 inches and youll be back there within a day knee deep in poo for that kind of distance its new hole and fart around with stack pipe not a great lover of toilet moves as there allways a little bit of the slimy stuff left behind.....yyeeeeeuuuukkk

Hmm!

6" or so isn't really a small move without moving the soil stack branch pipe. An offset may sound okay but not only do they move the pan sideways they may also push it out as well.

You can buy solvent weld fittings that would take it over that much. We often used a couple of solvent weld 90 or 135 and cut the collar down on one and the spigot on the other to give us a small offset. You can get solvent weld 90 pan connector bends.

But offsets can block easy and cutting the collar down can sometimes mean the joint is weak.

I would tell the customer the possible problems and let them decide.
