about 30 years ago when I was in the old motor trade I was stripping a bonnet with Nitromoors. Forgetting what was on my hands I went for a slash ........... I can honestly re-feel the pain while typing this.

Rob, I am sure you will make a full and speedy recovery, take it easy pal.

Sounds painful done it my self soldering at height and splashed down onto and into my arm the smell of burning flesh wasn't a nice smell

Flesh burns are occupational hazard arms are covered In burns always catching my arm on the glowing torch head or leaning in over a pipe forgetting it's just been soldered or servicing a boiler when no one could be bothered to turn it off knowing your coming. This was just a freak accident

Got myself a pair of these today, just need to remember to wear them, also met Killy bing he's not as short as I expected! I'm almost disappointed but then they say you should never meet your hero's in real life! Knew I'd find him lurking in the Milwaukee stand!

maybe it means you're on the shorter side too 😉

think that's the same set as mine, great specs 😀

what other damage did you do? Saw you had some levels

Specs, 2ft and 4ft fat max XL levels, pair of baby knipex cobras, new set of vde screwdrivers and a spectrum core kit. Wasn't as much there as I'd hoped really went to see if they were selling any marcrist or fluke stuff

toughbuilt kneepads +snap on outers for them
toughbuilt tool belt and plumbers + electricians pouches
toughbuilt work tote
was pretty impressed with them to be fair

heap of snickers work wear

no milwaukee stuff.......

i kid, 18v brushless grinder and 18v multi tool.

notice makita wasn't there ?
last year they turned up and said they didn't need to drop price as they had market share 😀
got told to f off and they are still sour over it.

BUT i did have the chat with the guy running ffx and hes interested in sponsoring the fourum, bespoke deals + money off coupons. i need to get dans details to send him next week 🙂

Kind of gutted they weren't there but if that's the attitude they have then probably best they weren't. Would be nice to see a tool supply on here. I probably spend equal amounts ffx its and Axminster depending who has the better deals
