right this is a question for all you clued up gadget lovers on here and il try keep it simple which is gonna be difficult lol :innocent:
had a meeting with a customer a couple of weeks ago for another ufh ( seems to be all i do lately, not that im whinging i enjoy it)and it is just your standard set up really however when we get to the controls this is the fun part haha.
He wanted a touch screen control panel to control all the zones and touch screen wireless stats in each zone. He wanted to be able to email and text etc the control panel to tell the heating to come on say when he leaves work . Ive heard of all of these and said id look into it expecting it to be pricey but do able however heres where it gets complicated.
The ufh manufacurers have sent me back specs for the control panel -[DLMURL="http://www.speedfitufh.co.uk/touch-pad.php"]Touch Pad | The Speedfit Underfloor Heating System[/DLMURL] which will do all i want it to do with the email etc .
they also sent me an option of stats -[DLMURL="http://www.heatmisershop.co.uk/epages/Heatmiser.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/Heatmiser/Products/PRT-UWTS"]Wireless Programmable Thermostat - Heatmiser PRT-UWTS - Heatmiser - Stylish Thermostats for Modern Living[/DLMURL]
^ this one would be ideal except its not compatible with the touch screen panel and the one below is, the problem is the one below is not wireless and i cant find any wireless touch screen stat which is compatible
