Been out this afternoon for a bit of shopping and a pint get back flick the telly on and it's kayak slalom on, I think awesome I will sit down crack open a bottle of proper job and watch it for a bit, just as I'm walking to the fridge my phone goes off and it's somebody I've done a few bits for, I thought about not answering but did and I was greeted with "mark I've got water going everywhere in my boiler! I know it's Sunday can you tell us what to do?" I replied "do you know where your water turns off?" "No" ok I'll be there in about 20 mins.
Just as I'm leaving the mens K1 came on and I was shaking my head went it was a grant vortex external and the dhw flow valve had split so turned valve off before it and that was it crisis over quick look round to make sure no water damage on anything and luckily not so tell them I will get parts ordered tomorrow jump into the van dash home. I turn the telly on and I see the end of the programme!
It's just my luck that the kayaking isn't on very often and I get a genuine emergency call!
