no as we are the trades man , And I am suggesting we tradesman have all a badge ......get rid of this pub member and stick plumber or heating engineer

every one to come up with qualifications paper work and public liability insurance and we dont need much more , or do we ?

Won't it just encourage DIYers ?

We're not a closed shop. But there are circumstances we need to advise the diyer accordingly.

My view is arms members and gsr's only for now because we can vouch for them as tradesmen or trainees.

We're looking at an unvented private forum which would open the field up further.

But yeah. Love the idea.

I think that as a van sticker, it should be trades only......cant see anyone putting one on the back of the family car.

Good idea.
I think a sticker stating trusted advisor
Can only enhance ones local credability.
Its more exclusive than quals which we all have even the crap guys have em.
Imho

The original idea was only to have something with UKPF on it so we could recognise other plumbers around (most on here are under an alias) and possibly swap banter and possibly assistance at suppliers etc. If some think it should be more then throw it out there and see what others think.

Oy! Some of us plebs aren't trusted advisors! My van would look great with pub member on it wouldn't it?

I want a sticker, where do I get mine???

agree that pub member don't sound too good, probably "trade member" would be better.
I like the idea
