Hi all,
Going on a day trip to Essex tomorrow to look at underfloor heating that wont turn off, me living 80 miles away and not knowing much about underfloor wiring the customer still persisted so hopefully he will be paying for a fix rather than the diesel.

I want to check wiring and manifold is wired into the wiring centre. What has me stuck is last time Ive done that I wired pump live into stat 3 (live when calling) via wiring centre, but when stat livened up the pump instead of powering up it just made continous clicking sound. Wired pump into permament live and it worked fine. Obviously you dont want pump permamently live so I cant work out where to wire that in. Stats and actuators work like any other stat I think just the pump throws me.

Anyone know how to make pump run from the underfloor stat?

Cheers!

sometimes if its a manufactured wiring center, it will have its own port for pump on the wiring center

The majority of the time they are wired into the manufacturers wiring centre which is like a pcb and just has terminals for everything to wire to

Cheers guys Il have a fiddle though i think there wont be a proper wiring centre like that so hopefully the stat just needs new batteries to make my 160 mile round trip worthwhile
