Unvented D2 pipe, to waste pipe.

The current regs allow you to run the D2 pipework to a straight Hep trap then to a waste connection for internal installations. If you do this in plastic waste pipe it should be able to cope with very high temperatures.
OSMA have confirmed to me in writing that their push fit waste pipe and fittings are suitable for these installations and will cope with the high temperatures.
Thought it would be a useful thread to cover your backside.

Any1 know about polypipe? Used to work with hunter and their pipe covers hot temperatures however main merchants have changed to polypipe

As long as it has BS 5254 or BS EN 1451 on it there should be no problems using it.

Yes it all has to be pushfit and clipped every 300mm!

The company I work for has thier own merchants and we get loads of them coming in, last week one came in going on about how speed fit isn't fit for domestic heating systems not realising I was out the back of the store. (he usually talks all of his bs to the shop keeper)
