Got my exams Monday and I think I've prepared all I can for them. Post notes on the books, highlighted passages etc

As for my practical I'm abit all over the place about it so I was wondering if any of you have a certain method in approaching a service, commissioning etc? Like I was thinking of writing a check list to go through or something but then again there's the CD/11 form I can refer to as well as book 2 from OFTEC and the manufacturers instructions. I'm worried of getting muddled up and looking a fool on my assessment.

Nervs aye haha.

Is this your initial 101,105 600 oil course final exam or your first Oftec assessment so you can join 'the' club.

It's my initial exam, finished my 'training' yesterday. Only one day in the workshop and we went through testing and managed to get my hands on the burner and stripped it down. Not a great deal though when you think about it. The other two days was in the classroom.

Then you should have been told everything you need to pass, they aren't there to trick you and will more than likely help if needed, everything that is asked is in the books, filling forms follow the logical sequence, servicing follow MI's, commissioning is the same, read the books again where your not sure over the weekend.
Good luck for Monday.

So when I'm doing my servicing/commissioning just go through the MI and whenever I do something that's on the CD/11 tick it off? As for the fault finding I think it's safe to just check the entire burner and rectify any faults then proceed with the servicing.

There should only be one fault and it will be one you have gone over. The rest is yes.
