hi all. as the title says. suspect diaphram in diverter valve as when hot tap switched on nothing happens. if i manually activate the microswitch, then the hot water lamp lights and the boiler fires up. but even with the hot tap running there is still no hot water and after about 30 seconds with microswitch still pressed the boiler stops firing. i think the diaphram is definately faulty as it dosn,t move the microswitch, but i would have thought by manually activating the switch and it lighting up should give hot water. any ideas please?

By pressing micro switch down, all you are doing is sending power to turn boiler on,the diverter valve is still in central heating mode position, you need the diagram to operate to push it over to hot water mode and give you hot water
