Hi,
I have a two year old Vaillant Ecotec Pro28 boiler which has developed a slow leak whether on or off.
It looks like it's coming from where the condensate discharge pipe comes out of the heat exchanger.
I'm a complete novice - would there be a seal that needs replacing or could the pipe have developed a small hole? Would I need to drain the boiler if attempting to remove the pipe? I wouldn't feel confident doing that myself...
Vaillant want to charge me nearly £300 to come out!
Thanks.

Hi
You normally get a 2 year guarantee with the pros.If it"s out of guarantee call a local gas safe engineer who will charge less than vailant. Now you have removed the combustion chamber cover i would not recommend using until checked.
