Hiya,
I have a vaillant ecotec pro 28 boiler which was already instaled in my new home when i moved in last year. I have always had gallons of hot water, but when I came to put the central heating on the radiators just never got warm? Apparently the boiler ignites, but goes out again after 10 secs. Iranf the technical help line, who told me to ress the + and - keys at the same time, which did light the boiler , but now the pressure gauge goes thro the roof when its on . Any ideas would be gratefully received.

sounds like divertor valve maybe sticking on hot water mode,common fault on this boiler,inside divertor valve is a rubber ball,that moves between ports closing as required,this tends to stick🙁
