I have a Vaillant Ecotec plus 630 and a VRC 470F Controller. The controller has a radio receiver in the boiler facia.
Now I have a Sensohome controller to install with internet gateway.
The radio receiver for this must be wall mounted and ebus connected.
The question is, how to I remove or disable the original radio receiver? It looks like it is connected to the PCB via the LCD display. I don't really want a blank hole in the facia.
There is a loop connecting the RT24V terminals on the pcb.

Any advice gratefully received.

Usually need a blanking plate, think they normally pop out. Any photo?

Yes, here is a photo. They can pop out from the front? Thank you for the reply.

Yes, that would just pop out, it will reveal about 5 metal pins. I think they work without, but unsure if it would interfere with the new one. If you can’t get a blanking plate a cheap time clock 150 would work

Many thanks. I had a quick google and found the blanking plate. It's now on order (£11). So I just prise it out from the front then? I'll wait until I have the blank though. Thanks again Chris.

Yep, make sure it’s the right one though. I’m sure I tried one of the older ones and didn’t fit. Should have mentioned earlier, apologies
