Vaillant flue problem?

1st need to say is the info in here is worth its weight in gold.

This is my 1st post so be gentle with me 🙂

Im just about to have central heating installed with a vaillant setup.
831 ecotec combi boiler with vertical roof flue etc etc etc.

My worry is after buying the roof terminal 303 900 is that there is no top cover?

So my question is will this be ok to fit and im not to worry myself about water/rain going down the flue into the boiler and cooking something.

these are 2 roof terminals ive looked at and they are the same with no top cover.
The 1st one is the one i have 60x100


second is 60x100...

But surely they should both have a top cover like no3?
If anyone can help on this matter? it will be much appreciated

part no 303900 has been replaced by part no 20065937

have to disagree, p/n 20065937 is the spitting image of pic no 3

doesnt matter if water gets into the flue on condensing boilers they are designed for water to run down through the boiler
