I don't know much about them but I've hired a few vivaro's and I was quite impressed with them. Go for the 6 speed gearbox though.

They are all Renault,s with different badges on. Heard some horror stories, gearboxes, dumping power steering fluid etc. I buy mine on hp, it gives you the option of keeping it if it's a good van. If not trade it in.

09 Vivaro, Not had anything mechanical-wise, although I've got a roof stress fracture that they did hee-haw about. First MOT tomorrow.. Ill let you know more after they pick me up off the floor!

I bought an ex BT vivaro about 12 months ago. 07 plate. Excellent van. 6 speed box. No issues. Flew through 1st MOT.

Times being tight I alternate between my Range Rover and my latest acquisition.

ive had a citroen relay 55 plate and now a transit 60 plate

Transit so much better than the relay, 20,000 miles no real issues.

Expanding a different part of the business and thought i might give the vauxhall vivaro a go

Well first MOT failed on track rod end ball joint and back door handle not working from outside. Got advisory on brake pads (around 30K so not too bad). Going back in tomorrow to get fixed so not too bad.

Got a Toyota hiace, five years old. Never failed an mot, only ever put two new tyres and one set of brake pads. It's been serviced anually that's it. Not the best to drive but when it's this reliable who cares.

a sparks i sometimes use has a 16 year old one bought from new LWB,no rot at all, passes every mot,in its lifetime its had 4 brake pads replaced, tyres and a new set of discs, its done 230,000 miles i dont think anything can beet that record

i had a vivaro and was picked up by several different tow trucks who said that the primastar vivaro and traffic are crap all made badly ,cheaply just with different badges, and they pick up alot, they said they didnt pick up many toyota vans

Bloke who occasionally works for me has a Hiace. Its done over 200K and is still going strong. Passed its latest MOT with a few advisorys. As for servicing it, he doesn't!

If something needs to be done, he does it....but the old girl keeps going. I service my van at the main dealer every year, and it never passes an MOT without needing something!!
