installed a vokera vision 25c combi but it will not light, everything working ie power to pump fan gas valve and boiler is going for ignition but gos to lockout , combi has been purged.

check your polarities not reversed on the mains cable this will cause this exact fault

I can tell you there has been a recall on these due to the gas valve! Whether its related to your fault is another matter....
Gas to inlet point?
Does it light then go lockout? Use FGA if there is no viewing window or burner on neon
If you have gas, power on gas valve coils, correct polarity and good earth, sounds like gas valve

power to gas valve, correct polarity etc defo not gas valve as there is another brand new vokera vision 25c there, so i changed the gas valve to see if it was at fault, but same fault applies(unless i have two dodgy gas valves which is unlikley or unlucky!)

Gas at inlet?
does it fire first then lock out?

gas at inlet, and spark ignition working correctly, does not fire up, just attempts four times then goes to lockout.

maybe gas/air mixture wrong, zero govenor ... think ive went through every avenue its just baffling me

could have a knackered governor at the gas meter i have had this before on premixers 20 when you clip on drops to zero when the boiler calls a demand in

already tested govenor all fine, ill phone vokera tomorrow see what they say, maybe i am unlucky with two faulty gas valves. thanks for all advice anyway

Let us know pal? I had it years ago on a Chaffoteux brittony combi, turned out they had a small batch of gas valves where moisture had stuck the solenoid rubber seats to the valve seats, took some real force to pull the 3 off their seats!

phoned vokera and they also say its the gas valve! so have had two dodgy boilers, engineer coming out to sort tomorrow
