I am looking to change my hrm burner as it has been giving problems off and on over the past few years. It is over 15 years and was wondering does anyone know what type of burner will fit. The issue seems to be that the wallstar15/19 boiler has a long blast tube of 150mm and most burners either sterling or Reillo has only 90mm or shorter blast tube. The actual hole in the boiler that the blast tube fits into is 120mm including flange so I need something around the 150mm size. I have contacted my local plumbing suppliers and no one is able to recommend anything. Can anyone help. Can you change the blast tube length of other burners and I take it that you need to extend the nozzle holder length as well?

Thanks
Gary

Wall stars have a slightly different set up.
you can't mix and match burners and parts because they are designed to go for a specific application.

you would have to have your oftec engineer go through HRM

this really isn't something you can do yourself!! unless say you don't mind endangering your loved ones.

Hrm will send the correct for you. It is a sterling burner with a special blast tube. You will need an engineer to set it up

Thanks I have contact hrm and they mentioned an x400 with a longer blast tube which is around £600.
