how do we get Warranty extended to 5 years on valiant or worcester bosch boilers we install ?

For Worcester you need to be one of the elite and install a minimum number of boilers a year to extend the warranty on their lower range boilers. I thought it was 5 years on the Cdi range though.

Alternatively fit another make that is happy to work with smaller installers instead of getting into bed with the likes of Tesco, help link and BG.

For vaillant you have to go on a course and then hound the rep for three months. Unless your coming from another competitor brand. And it's only on the Eco tec plus.

Lot's of other boilers on market now with 5 + years warranty's, even some of the less popular make's, New Simie as 10 years going for about same price as a Vaillant !.

The length of warranty isnt important, its about how good the manufacturers are about honouring it. I personally think Worcester Bosch are the best for this and thats why I fit them. I have only heard bad things about Baxi/Potterton recently with them trying to get out of fixing the boilers under warranty.

Seriously! Parts and labour? These warrantys that are that long are normally headliners for the hw heat ex only.

Wouldnt touch worcester for above reasons.
To get five on the vaillant you need to be in their advance scheme. Five on the plus and three on the pro. If you are on glowworms club energy, then you can get five across the range including flexicom.
Or go for an Atag. Five year on all except open vent and that is two year

Personaly I don't like worcestors but I thought they were quite reliable, have you had problems?

i dont do repairs but fit them on contracts and the install set up is garbage,
also on private works had issues with them conking out within couple years and customer service isn't all that good.
also overpriced imho
the flue is always inch to short which am sure they make it like that to make you buy an extension
what repairs i have done as well have been a mare with them cant get your hands in or boiler off the wall job ,,,,,shocking boilers put them down with the bottom end garbage

Know what you mean about repairs, seem to have been designed so as difficult as possible to repair.

Worcester all ranges is 5 yrs parts and lab to everybody you just need to register the boiler on line very easy to do si and cdi are getting 7 yrs for approved installers very quick response on the rare occation i have needsd them. Vaillant 5 yrs but calling them out is an art and i don't know what there engineers say to custards but they always upset them, and the homeserve are alwasys pestering your custards to service boilers or go on insurance plan, we have fit over 500 of each Worcester by a country mile

7 years is good, I'm getting a bit dissalusioned with vaillant they are going up by £70 £80 a boiler. Although no issues with back up. Don't understand why it isn't five years as standard.
