Hi saw a drainage guy use one of these today with great affect. Does anyone else ever use them, if so can you recommend a goodun

Sounds about right. Prior to this week I can't remember the last time I broke out my drain rods. I'm just a fan of anything that makes our lives easier. Obviously not this!!! cheers anyway lame
 
ive never had much luck with snakes often easier to cut plastic out clear and replace. For places where thats not possible 3/8 sprung rods are my favorite tool bend the tip of one and it will go down most 40 pipes and some 32 mm
