Just looking around on the net to see what is needed to be a plumber in the USA.

Looking at moving over there, maybe as early as next year, but unsure if you need to be licensed etc, like you do in Oz.

Anyone had any dealings with this?

Thanks

Graham

Honestly I'd move to canada they built double the amount of houses we did last year and have half the population we do and at least 4x the land mass we do to build on.

6 school friends have moved there in the past few years and not one of them would consider coming back they range from lorry drivers to electricians oh and a lagger.

I too have thought of this but there's sooooo much red tape. Quite off putting

Canada is supposed to be the hardest place to get into and it's a lengthy process. It can be sped up if you have a job to go to. So you go on a work visa whilst you process a permanent visa. All you have to do to transfer from the work to the permanent visa is leave the country and return. Which is normally a trip across the US border and back 🙂

I would imagine the US being very similar, contractors are licensed in Canada.
