Hi I had my boiler condemned yesterday and I can't remember what the workman said and I'm curious. He said a boiler releases 100 (of something) per hour/day (I forget which one) and this boiler was releasing 5000-7000 per hour/day.
The brand is Potterton if that helps? Thanks.

Perhaps he was referring to the amount of CO (carbon monoxide) in the flue gas which is measured in ppm (parts per million). This is not a figure that is measured 'per/hour' or 'per/day'.

If the boiler was condemned they would normally have left a written report/form giving the reason.

Why not just call him and ask for clarification?
