i am planning to replace my 20 year old trusted oil burner for something more modern. i am unsure if i should install a riello RDB or a bentone/sterling burner ?? i have a boiler house casing, so anything should fit , space-wise. i am worried about blast tube size or if the distance from nozzle to boiler wall has to be scrupulously maintained ? i am also not sure if any of the mentioned burners can take spare parts from my old burner ( should they ever be needed ?
i am open to suggestions if even better burners are about.

As above. ^^ You shouldn't be installing an oil burner yourself, - even at your own home unless you are experienced with oil boilers, own a analyser and other test equipment and know what burner to purchase to suit the boiler and how to commission it at correct output.
Your boiler service person should be able to advise you of what burner is suitable and probably could supply and fit.
