Thanks in advance for any suggestion and assistance!First things first, I've been watching Shannon for years but this is my first post.
So long story short, I've gotten in over my head with what started as a new toilet and supply line turned into gutting the whole bathroom. It's a half bath addition, absolutely nothing is code and there is so much water damage. I've pull the sheet vinyl and found rotted hard wood floors so I pulled those and found a huge hole and not as rotten wood slats, but still very wet.
The drywall is wet and moldy, gnats and smells galore, and I've been running 2 dehumidifiers around the clock in this tiny, tiny bathroom with minimal results.
How do I fix this? I was told to just dry it out and go over with plywood for a new floor but is it going to dry?
These people are on a very tight budget and I'm just doing this to help them out and to gain experience. But I want it to be right and look good, I don't do half bum jobs so somebody help a girl out with some real life experience with not your average bathroom.
We recommend City Plumbing Supplies, BES, and Plumbing Superstore for all plumbing supplies.
