Hi, I am purchasing my first lot of gas safe pads since becoming registered. Looking in the plumbfix catalogue I am overwhelmed with all the different kinds. So am wondering which are the usual ones.

I believe: Landlords Gas Safety
Service Maintenance
Plus all the warning notices but what about all the others that are there

Any guidance would be grateful.

What about the UK Gas Safety Certificate all in one pad containing UK Gas Safety, unsafe installation and Landlords pad. Which needs to be ordered

I asked Gas Safe for clarification on this for the same reason - there are so many forms out there!

Basically, the only one that is a legal requirement is CP12 (landlord inspection record). Everything else is voluntary.

I like the CP6 as it's a good prompt-sheet for servicing (and looks impressive to customers, as they see a long ticklist of items checked). I also like the CP14 (warning and advice) for NCS/AR/ID notification, and CP20 (commissioning) as a prompt-sheet for new boiler installs. All from Corgi Direct as I like their layout. Just my personal preferences!

Thanks for prompt reply masood. Do you think the toolstation ones are ok as half price compared to every where else. They have: maintenance/service, electrical bonding, gas safety inspection, landlord, warning advice, notices and gas 1 safety certificates. I wad just thinking of buying 1 each for now and see how I get on. And, am sat outside toolstation now

I got the CPset2 from Corgi as it gave me all the forms I needed except the leisure industry ones.

I purchased the toolstation ones and to be honsest, they don't seem that bad. next time I shall order them from Corgi.

Surely warning notices are a requirement as well. I get through loads of them especially when servicing or gas safeties as there is always something.

You'd think so, Millsy, and I get through loads as well as I record NCS's as well, mainly to cover my a*se in case things change down the line. But the guy at Gas Safe (Tony in Technical Support) said only CP12 has legal standing. He may well have been wrong, of course...
